ALEXANDER, Hattie Carry

Mrs. Hattie Alexander, 95, Danville, Illinois, died at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, at Americana Nursing Home where she had been a patient for eight months. She was the mother of Raymond Alexander of Attica.
Born October 24, 1888 in Glasgow, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William and Angie Jolly Carry. On January 17, 1910 she married Huey Rudolph “Rudy” Alexander in Barren County, Kentucky. He died September 18, 1943.
Other survivors include another son, Charles Alexander of Danville; three daughters, Mrs. Millard Thomson of Georgetown, Illinois, Mrs. Mildred Ross of Lafayette and Mrs. John Wright of Fithian, Illinois; 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Services were conducted Friday at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. William Cole officiating. Burial was in Newtown Cemetery. -s-
